Coming from nowhere
Materialized out of thin air
Slowly she’s risen, surrounded by smoke
Tainted candles lit, the death she will evoke
Darkness overflowing, creating shadows everywhere
They’re swaying, they’re hinging, part of reality
The universe expanding rapidly on and on
What is, what will become, will one day be long gone
Can you answer the question
All have been given
No one has answered
Careless and indifferent
Everyone’s wishes
Everyone owns
Reality’s messes
Are sealed in the bones
Endless this universe weaves rapidly on and on
What is, what will become, will one day be long gone
What am I in this narrow point of time
She fixed her gaze upon me, and makes this misery mine
She reaps the land, a lethal force, with disregard of all
Leaving desolate wastelands, saddening the soul
All shackles broken
All defenses gone
The thought this was a just world, the thought that was so sure
A distant recollection, left more broken than before
The winds are howling
Around my fortress of glass and sand
Roads aplenty, countless pathways, slanting all around
Yet for me, a purpose, now nowhere to be found
Left unfound
I love every single album by Be'lakor practically equally. They are one of the very few bands that exist in my mind where I can put on their music, any album, and never once have even the slightest urge to skip a song. The Vocals, Guitar work, Piano, and Drums are all working together in perfect harmony to create an experience that very nearly makes me want to cry. Whether they be tears of sadness or the inverse highly depends on the songs, though. captaincreep
French Progressive Melodic Death Metal. Here at last! This is some terrific music as well as vocals with quite a few progressive elements. FFO Insomnium, Be'lakor, Enshine & similar. Highly recommended!!! bmurator
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024
