With your body aching you keep plowing through
You have a weary soul, but that won’t ever slow you down
You keep your secrets in hope no one will feel
That your heart is heavy, the hurt you must conceal
Insanity beyond reproach
Into the storm I will rise again
Insanity beyond reproach
This rising tide I must stand against
Take away all the pain
Tear away the charade
Strip away all the shame
And behold what remains
You keep on running, but you have nowhere to hide
Embrace the truth, spill the gloom bottled up inside
Follow this confounded path and take a look at what you find
That yesterday’s heavy clouds are now today’s clear skies
No
I’ve done it always and like this is how I do
You might claim common sense, but I will never follow you
So let me fall down, because I will never see
Your voice of reason, oh wait, that voice is me
The voice is me
Insanity beyond reproach
Into the storm I won’t rise again
Insanity beyond reproach
This rising tide I can’t stand against
All the pain taken away
(All the pain taken away)
The charade torn away
(The charade torn away)
The shame stripped away
And now, nothing remains
I love every single album by Be'lakor practically equally. They are one of the very few bands that exist in my mind where I can put on their music, any album, and never once have even the slightest urge to skip a song. The Vocals, Guitar work, Piano, and Drums are all working together in perfect harmony to create an experience that very nearly makes me want to cry. Whether they be tears of sadness or the inverse highly depends on the songs, though. captaincreep
French Progressive Melodic Death Metal. Here at last! This is some terrific music as well as vocals with quite a few progressive elements. FFO Insomnium, Be'lakor, Enshine & similar. Highly recommended!!! bmurator
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024
